About the discovery call
The discovery call is a 30-minute diagnostic, not a pitch. We'll look at your current operations, identify the highest-leverage starting point, and figure out whether a Smarter Hacks consulting engagement is the right fit. If it isn't, I'll tell you that and point you in the right direction.

- I'll tell you which engagement fits your situation and why
- If we move forward, I'll send a proposal within 48 hours of the call
- No pressure close. No follow-up sequence if you say no.
Consulting engagements start at $197. If that's not in range, the newsletter and blog content are free and built to be implemented independently.
To save both of our time, I'm not the right contact for:
- Guest post submissions or content swaps — I don't accept unsolicited guest posts.
- Link exchange requests — I don't participate in link schemes of any kind.
- "Collaboration" pitches disguised as link placement — if your first email mentions "a mutual opportunity," I won't respond.
- Cold sales pitches — if you're selling a product or service, email is not the right channel.
- Free consulting — the discovery call is free. Work beyond that is not.
- Requests to promote your tool or service through my content — I write about what I've tested, not what I've been pitched.
